Beautiful property at the perfect location
- What did you like most?The room was spacious, beautiful, clean and well kept. The insulation is top notch because we could not hear any other guests. The parking is just a 3 minute walk from the hotel and very easy to navigate. The staff during check-in was not very friendly but overall the staff was helpful and welcoming. The shop inside the hotel lobby has all the basis amenities including a barista for your daily fresh coffee. The location is perfect: so close to all the important landmarks in Las Vegas. The Strip is just around the corner. I prefer this hotel above other options (like the Flamingo next door) because it is not a big resort and does not have a casino. It feels more sophisticated and serene. The focus is less on "wild parties".
- Was there anything you didn't like?I read the reviews about the (in)famous pool parties at the Flamingo (daily from 9am until at least 5pm) just days before our arrival. It was too late to cancel. Our plan was to have some leisure time at the pool but we adjusted our itinerary. We left the hotel each morning around 6am and returned around 7pm. That is why we never experienced any noise or nuisance from those pool parties. I would do my own research if you plan to stay here. Depending on your preferences, you better look for a different hotel.
